Pangaea will provide appropriate technology at affordable prices to poor rural and urban people in Ghana. We will begin with solar/solid-state lamps for residences and other small settings. When our marketing and distribution network is set up and functioning smoothly, we intend to introduce a number of other products: Kickstart irrigation pumps; Q-Drum rolling jerry cans for hauling water; pot-in-pot coolers; solar cookers; low-cost cargo bicycles; and perhaps a $100 house.
