Microfinance
Loans for purchase of our products will be available to our customers, so that they can pay over a reasonable period of time. For example, women who buy bicycles from the Asante Akim Community Centre pay $28 over four months, or $7 a month in principal and interest.
We are consulting now with Opportunity International, a microfinance organization established by the Presbyerian Church and active now in Ghana. There are many other possible partners for offering microloans designed to alleviate poverty. ■
