Guide to the Two-Year Colleges, published by Barron's Educational Series from 1960-1970, presented basic data on more than 800 community and junior colleges and technical institutes as well as counseling on college and career choice. the Guide was widely used by high school and college guidance offices, other counseling agencies, and by parents and students.
